Ford Parts 7C19-18080-AE Rear Shock Absorber for Ford Transit V348 A Transit V348 / New Gen Quanshun rides on a Hotchkiss rear axle: two taper-leaf springs carry the weight, and a single telescopic gas damper​ on each side soaks up the rebound. There's no coil, no strut, no spring seat on this part — it's just the damper tube, hanging between the frame and the rear axle. Hit a pothole and the whole van keeps bobbing, the rear tyres skip on wet tarmac, a loaded back end
